# Productivity Formula Company workers produce a certain number of production units as per the following formula. These production units accumulate in a queue within the company and each time a sufficient quantity is available of both production units and raw materials, the production units are converted into finished goods. `Production Units = ( ( Skill * Wellness Factor * Regional Factor * Employee Factor ) / Quality) *4` ## Wellness Factor The Wellness Factor (WF) refers to the total wellness out of 100 a citizen has when he works. `WF = ( Wellness / 100 ) + 1` ## Regional Factor The Regional Factor (RF) is used to account for regional raw materials companies' production: `High resources: RF = 2.0` `Medium resources: RF = 1.0` `Low resources: RF = 0.1` `For manufacturing and construction companies the RF always = 1` ## Employee Factor The Employee Factor (EF) is determined by the number of employees working in a company (N). For companies with the total number of employees less than or equal to the efficient number, the EF will equal: `2` For companies exceeding the efficient number, the EF will be the greater of: `1 ` or `3 - (N / Nefficient)` ##### Efficient Number of Employees The Efficient Number (of employees) (Nefficient) depends upon the company type: Raw materials - 10 Manufacuring - 10 Construction - 20 ## Production Units Products require a certain number of production units to generate one complete item: | Product | Production units required | Raw material type required | Raw Material quantity per Quality | | ------------ | ------------ | ------------ | ------------ | | Food | 2 | Grain | 2 | | Juice | 3 | Fruit | 3 | | Moving Tickets | 4 | Oil | 4 | | Weapons | 5 | Iron | 5 | | House | 200 | Wood | 200 | | Hotel | 1000 | Wood | 1000 | | Hospital | 2000 | Wood | 1000 | | Defence System | 2000 | Wood | 1000 | ## Examples #### Example 1: Grain Company A Land worker of skill 3 and wellness = 90 works in a Grain company located in a high productivity region. Lets assume that the company has no more than 10 employees. `Wellness Factor = (90/100) + 1 = 1.9` `Regional factor for high productivity grain is 2` `Employee factor = 2` `Productivity (per employee) = (Wellness Factor * Skill * Regional Factor * Employee Factor / Quality) * 4` `= (1.9 * 3 * 2 * 2 / 1) * 4` `= 91.2` Therefore: Raw materials require 1 production units so this means 91 units of grain are produced (note that 0.2 left over would accumulate in the company queue). #### Example 2: Q3 Food Company A manufacturing worker of skill 5 and wellness at 100 works in a Q3 food company with a total 15 employees. `Wellness Factor = (100/100) + 1 = 2.0` `Regional factor for all manufacturing is 1` `Employee factor = 3 - 15/10 = 1.5 (note that the use of employees above the efficient level incurs a productivity loss)` `Productivity (per employee) = (Wellness Factor * Skill * Regional Factor * Employee Factor / Quality) * 4` `= (2.0 * 5 * 1 * 1.5 / 3) * 4` `= 20.0` Therefore: Food requires 2 production units each so this will produce 10 units of food.
